Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 2026

This policy explains what information WA Smart Sender collects when you use the platform, how it's used, and what control you have over it. This is a general template, not a substitute for advice from a lawyer familiar with your business and jurisdiction.

Overview

WA Smart Sender ("we", "us") provides a platform for sending and managing WhatsApp Business messages through Meta's official WhatsApp Cloud API. This policy covers the account holders who use our platform ("you") and, where relevant, the end customers you message through it.

Information we collect

Account information: your name, email, organization details, and authentication credentials when you sign up.

Connection data: the WhatsApp Business Account IDs, phone numbers, and access tokens you provide to link a Meta connection.

Usage data: message content, delivery status, contact lists you upload for campaigns, and chatbot rules you configure — all handled on your behalf as the account holder.

Technical data: IP address, browser type, and log data collected automatically when you use the platform.

How we use your information

To operate the platform: authenticating your account, sending messages on your behalf through the WhatsApp Cloud API, and displaying your conversations and analytics.

To bill for usage: calculating message volume and subscription costs.

To communicate with you: service updates, security notices, and support responses.

We do not sell your data or your customers' data to third parties.

WhatsApp and Meta platform data

Because the platform operates on top of Meta's WhatsApp Cloud API, message content and delivery data necessarily passes through Meta's infrastructure and is subject to Meta's own data policies in addition to this one. Connecting a WhatsApp Business Account means you're also bound by Meta's Business Terms and WhatsApp Business Messaging Policy.

Data sharing and third parties

We share data with Meta (as required to deliver messages), payment processors (for billing), and infrastructure providers (hosting, storage) strictly to operate the service. We do not share your data with advertisers or data brokers.

Data retention

We retain account and message data for as long as your account is active, plus a limited period afterward for legal and billing records. You can request deletion of your account data at any time, subject to legal retention requirements.

Your rights and choices

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to certain processing. Contact us using the details below to exercise these rights.

Cookies and tracking

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and remember your language preference. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies on the platform.

Security

Access tokens and credentials are encrypted at rest. We use industry-standard access controls and monitoring, but no system is completely secure — we encourage you to use a strong, unique password and enable any available account protections.

Children's privacy

The platform is intended for business use and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under the age required by applicable law to hold an account.

Changes to this policy

We'll update this page and the "last updated" date above if this policy changes materially. Continued use of the platform after a change means you accept the updated policy.
